Okay....I want to get a few things out in the open right away. Article marketing IS in fact an ugly traffic strategy. There is no secret sauce. No salacious software solution. No underground technique that is going to compel, cajole and COERCE your audience to consume your content.
You've got to think......you've got to be creative, and you've got to be willing to create copious amounts of content often before finding that ONE little nuance that converts like crazy.
And there are NO head-starts. And I know what you're thinking right now........but the answer is no. EVEN if you're super charismatic, have a poetic command of the English language, are unusually good looking and a super fast typer like me.....you've still got to do the work, and create the content. (although I appreciate you noticing)
You can't outsource article marketing effectively either....unless you are working as an affiliate, or don't mind having other people's prose attached to your good name.
But the GOOD news, is this.......
Content is QUEEN. (conversion is actually King....but that's a different article) And if you are willing to create lots of it, you can literally WRITE your own online success story. (no pun intended..:-)
Articles can be created in your spare time.
They are FREE to write...and only require you care, sit down and start to work.
They can be MONETIZED through a veritable avalanche of amazing avenues...and even most "gurus" who teach this stuff are only scratching the surface.
Articles can be re-purposed in a multiplicity of ways...and each one serves a different segment, or slice of your online profit puzzle.
You can build a list. You can build a blog. You can be an affiliate marketing mercenary. You can compile, collect and codify your articles into a free report....or paid resource. They can become a membership site, or a sales sequence you use for an affiliate auto-responder.
Your content....if created strategically, can serve many lives....and MANY masters, and contrary to the new age self help book I just stole that from, they don't need to be Buddhist, or believe in reincarnation to make it happen.
Yes, article marketing can be ugly. And it can take time. And in the wrong niche.....it can often feel like nothing is happening, even while it is. So give it time. But get started today. Because after years in this business...and a good amount of attention and success, I can still count on my content to create consistent cash whenever I need it. (And after some BIG bad gambling investments in this weekends NFL draft, I think I may need it now)
