So if you've got a good relationship with your subscribers, you simply broadcast (or schedule in your ordinary sequence) and email that points to a specific article. In many categories, and extra 2 or 3 hundred views can make your article one of the most popular in it's section;....which further translates into MORE views, as it "sticks" to the directory for a period of time, rather than falling off when new submissions come in. (this truly works amazingly well.....and I'd love to see you try it)
Technique #2?
Socialize your content. Tweet your articles. Post them on your Facebook fan pages. Or even point your BLOG readers to visit your most recent article, by linking from your blog to the article itself. I've used this approach in just about every niche I work in, and it works wonderfully well even if you are just getting started. You don't want to be obnoxious about it of course, and be selective to only use this approach occasionally, but getting 2 or 3 articles to STICK on the directory for a month or two can translate into real dollars fast for me...and it WILL do the very same for you..:-)
There are MORE sophisticated strategies as well.....but these are both effective, ecologically sound, and if you are creating quality content, a value ADD to your network, niche or sphere of influence as well...:-)
